## Description
**Account Manager - Ford Global Sales (Multiple Openings)**
Global sales engineering support for one or more automotive OEM accounts. Act as the main interface between customer, manufacturing, and engineering, including with customer engineering. Support and process engineering requests for design change cost impacts, cost reduction activities, and material requirements, including through prototype and program launch. Participate in capacity studies and tooling audits. Resolve account issues, account receivables, and product delivery schedules. Manage contracts, including material slide adjustments. Promote DENSO to customers and develop sales strategies for the short-, mid-, and long-terms. Attend customer meetings to understand their direction, needs, and market trends. Integrate strategies with DENSO plants worldwide and DENSO headquarters in Japan, in order to meet customer expectations. Support DENSO affiliates globally to solve regional issues and act as global product leader.
## Qualifications
Education: Bachelor - Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Production Engineering, ora related field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree.
Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as a Sales Engineer, Sales Analyst,or in a related automotive OEM sales engineering role.
Experience must include at least three (3) years with each of the following:
1. Tier 1 automotive OEM sales engineering for alternators and starters,including account maintenance of pricing contracts, deliveries, quality issues,and identification of business expansion opportunities.
2. Tier 1 automotive OEM global sales RFQ processes, including pricing andproduct strategy, and face-to-face negotiations with the OEM.
3. Creating short-, mid-, and long-term sales forecasts and business expansiontargets.
4. Developing global sales strategies, including pricing and technology plans, fora sales group comprised of one (1) North American headquarters and at leastthree (3) overseas corporate affiliates.
