Manufacturing Engineer - REPS (2018)

+ Specify, develop, validate and install new equipment and tools

+ Communicate with all stakeholders, supervisor, engineers, skilled trades, etc. to meet customer needs

+ Leads the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for an assigned area

+ Utilize ADP, PDP & DMS to plan and execute assigned projects; manage budget as required

+ Understand & lead safety / ergonomic requirements

+ Implement manufacturing system best practices and common systems globally

+ Lead the implementation, support, and provide continuous improvement of lean and agile manufacturing systems.

+ Estimate lead time and cost of capital equipment

+ Some international travel


Degree: Bachelors Major: Engineering

+ 5 or more years of experience with tool and equipment build or equivalent

+ Working knowledge of machine, tool, and die design

+ Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls

+ High level of analytical skills

+ Good interpersonal skills

+ Good computer skills

+ Previous experience with tool & equipment build or equivalent project management experience preferred

+ Familiar with PLC & motion control programming and machine control standards preferred

+ Knowledge of Quality Network and Shanin/Six Sigma preferred

+ Knowledge of TS-16949 and ISO-14001 preferred

+ Previous experience in manufacturing industrial product, tool or design engineering, and AUTO CAD preferred
